2017 Ford F-150 Raptor pricing leaked

2017 Ford F-150 Raptor pricing leaked
http://www.foxnews.com/leisure/2016/...ricing-leaked/

July 25, 2016

Ford’s performance pickup will beat its most powerful pony car…on price.

A pricing sheet for the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor uncovered by Autoblog (not WikiLeaks!) shows the truck starting at $49,520 for a SuperCab, with the larger SuperCrew going for $52,505.

Both come with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with at least 450 hp, a 10-speed transmission, long-travel suspension, and a computer-controlled 4x4 system with six drive modes that range from rock crawling to high speed desert running. Several option groups are available, including a luxury package that adds $9,345.

I really like the look of the new raptors. I just wish I could afford one.

Seriously! If I was in the position where vehicle cost/fuel cost didnt matter at all, this is what I would be driving.

Throw the Voodoo in that truck and I'd literally sell everything I own for it.

Keep seeing these running around where I live and they are awesome i want one bad. The only thing I don't like about them is the motor that they are using.

Voodoo's power band would be horrible in this.

What's not to like; The sound? I'll give you that, the v8 "rumble" would be missed, but this thing will outperform the previous 6.2L powered unit in probably most every metric. Maybe, the "real world" mpg? Yeah, a heavy foot will easily sink those epa numbers, but it's a toy, so I don't see the real issue. Maybe, the specs? If the mainstream 3.5 Will be at 375/470 on 87 octane is imagine this engine will be come with a "premium only" tune that'll make output in the 430hp and 520tq range.
