Nice. Surprised since the 488's and GT's have been so dominant.

Apparently GM's advertising agency is trying to convince the company to rename Traverse to TrailBlazer with the all-new 2018 model.

But you can't change a crossover into an SUV by changing the name. It's still wrong wheel drive.

True, but that doesn't seem to have held Explorer back at all.

Yes, and Pathfinder and many others. I think even some Jeeps are FWD. Sad.

People want FWD based crossovers. In all sizes and prices & in large numbers. Because for 99.99% of what people do with them, they're superior to a body on frame RWD/4WD SUV. They use less gas and have better ride & handling. Most people couldn't even tell you the difference between a crossover & an SUV or which wheels are powered because it doesn't matter when you use it to commute or get groceries. Sure, it matters when towing or going off road ... but most people never plan on doing either of those things so its not a selling point. Well, unless you happen to be the kind of person that just wants everyone to think they're the outdoorsy type that does those things all the time. Then a real SUV is absolutely essential to projecting that image.

Is this the same ad company that is currently doing these focus group based ads for Chevy?

If so, I hope GM doesn't listen. Cause those ads are horrendous. If there is to be a return of the Trailblazer, it should be on the Colorado platform.
