I don't know if anyone else knew of this...

But in Junior year, hundreds of thousands of AP students took part in a massive prank where we somehow incorporated "THIS IS SPARTA!!!" somewhere into the essays of our AP exams...

You see, if you cross something out on an essay on an AP exam, the graders aren't allowed to grade that part.

One of my essays dealt with the Vietnam War...and so I wrote...

"American troops were sent in to combat the Vietcong, running into the jungles of Vietnam screaming "THIS IS SPARTAAAAA!!!!"

Crossed out of course.
