I was out and about and went by the Chevy dealership and was looking at an SS. Mistakes were made, I want it bad.

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't test driven a 6th gen

They are really nice. Can't really afford it, just wanted to check it out. This was just about the exact car I want. Hyper blue metallic, 1SS black stripes, dual mode exhaust, nothing else. It was an auto, if i got a manual it would have to be an 1LE tho.

I haven't either. I am also waiting to see the ZL1 in person. There are a few things on the 6th Gen interior I am NOT a fan about, but the performance of a ZL1 could outweigh those things. I enjoy my 2010 too much to let it go at this time.

I'm not sure I would go that far. It has some technical improvements, along with a few bugs still being flushed out. Many of the technical pieces I would never use. I don't care for Bluetooth, I don't care to pair my phone for phone calls. I trust my GPS more than GM Navigation due to updates. I prefer more room on the inside and in the trunk than the 2016 has. And if I have drinks in the cup holder, my passenger can still use the armrest... Can't do that in the 2016.

But as far as looks goes, that subjective and I love my 2010 model much more than the 2016 model.

Yup. I have Bluetooth, but I hate the sound quality. USB is the way to go.

Bluetooth on the stock radio sucks, but it's pretty stellar on my aftermarket unit (avic 8000nex)

well kudos to those that took me serious. but anyway, its personal preference. no camaro is ugly, but i think 2016 is a massive upgrade. does that mean i hate 5th gen? **** no i dreamed of one everday, i honestly didnt think i would get a 6th and niether did i want one at first. i like the sportier look and i think the v6 model is a little more better than 5th gen 6. i admittedly hated the 6th gen at first and thought it was ugly as shit, hated the rear and front. but after driving both, the 6th grew on me more quicker than the 5th. now i cant say shit for the ss cause i never drove either generations or a v8 in that matter. but yep the interior is a lot better looking, but i agree with hrpii with the negative things.

My only issue with the 6th gen is the view out of the front and back of the car is worse than a 5th gen. View out of the rear window is maybe 8-10 inches, view out of the front is 2/3 of a 5th gen. It was kind of surprising when I noticed that. Otherwise the 6th gen is a definite performance increase over the 5th gen and the looks are slowly growing on me... Minus the afterthought that is the rear end of the car lol

I don't like the 2nd gen (minus the 70 1/2) or the 3rd gen unless it's super clean.
