The Mustang II was like a Pinto, only weaker, not nearly as sexy, and worse in every way than the Pinto.

But, GM was also guilty of crimes against musclecarness back then: My '82 Berlinetta had 104 hp, and was NOT the weakest Camaro offered that year... those equipped with the "Iron Duke" were sputtering out 96 hp (and, don't quote me on this, but I heard from a guy who heard from a guy, that "hp" that year stood for "hamster power").

My '82 LOOKED nice... but, red light to red light, I once lost to a team of retiree power- walkers, being driven by their blind den mother, in a Winnebago that was towing another Winnebago that was chained to a tree. THAT was embarrassing.

It looks so different without the optional biplane wing spoiler. Perhaps they were on the way to the shop to have it installed...

A while back I saw a late model blue Camry in the parking lot here at work that had put a red "SS" badge on the back. The incredibly rare Camry RS/SS! Never got a chance to take a picture (cell phone atheist) and don't see it anymore.
