Just picked up a Sig P226 .40 with the 9mm conversion and .357 barrel for 500 deer. I think I did pretty good.

That is a good deal. I have a P229 and a P239. Both in .40S&W.

Ill let you know how my RAS47 does and give you my personal review. I researched reviews on the gun and checked out a few youtube vids before i made the.purchase. the gun overall seems to be made.well but only time will tell. It may be while before i hit the.range though. AZ can get pretty hot in the summer the only indoor range is shooters world. Shooters world sucks.

I just picked up a Ruger 10-22 in Camo. 50th Anniversary edition. I can't wait to go shoot it!

I've got a 10-22 I bought when they first came out. Solid walnut stock. Paid something like $22 for it. Great little rifle!

Here is my review of RAS47. Overall, a well made weapon. It fired well with 2 misfires, both can de attributed to to ammo.. I had 2 promags ( seem cheaply made) and 2 tapco ( made way better than the promags) as neither malfuctions were fail to load or eject. Fail to fire the round was the issue. Lite striker fire. Accuracy was as you would expect from an AK. Good but not great. 2 areas that i thought were an issue ( for me) were, 1 the mag realease seemed a might too thin and flimsy for years and years of abuse.

I know this is a civilian rifle so that may not be an issue. Second, the magpul stock is nice, but being the fixed stock, is a tad too short. If I had gotten the adjustable stock it would not be a problem. Overall, the rifle is a good, solid rifle for its intended purpose. A nice, well built rifle for sport.

Would i trust my life with it. At this time i can't answer that. I know the rifle is new and still needs to be broken in. I'll do a few more sessions with it before i can answer the life and death question. Rating - 7. I'm pretty confident this rifle will perform as intended.

Nice review. I looked hard at AKs recently but went a different direction. i'm liking the synthetic furniture here vs the traditional versions.

Thanks a bunch!

I've never been a fan of the 7.62x39. Just never liked it, which is why I want a FAL or HK-91. I've so many rounds of 5.56x45 in my life I lost count a few thousands ago. Nice, but not my choice to get that critical stop. Of course my Super Nova is what I'd use first for up close & personal.

The Nova is a great shotgun for the price (pump). It confounds me though at the drastic price difference between the pump and semi-auto version.
