ok. so this is probably gonna seem like the most dumb, noobest question ever. but i have to ask it. you know how if you have an automatic tranny and it is in D, when you let off the brake the car rolls forward very slowly. If you had a manual and it was in 1st gear and you let off the brake, does it roll forward slowly? or do you have to press the gas to go. (both of these situations you are even ground). I have never owned, driven or even talked about manual transmissions in any real capacity, so i really have no idea

if you are on the clutch a little bit, it will idle but you dont wanna let off to much other wise your gonna kill it. thats the way it is on our truck at least not a dumb question haha i just found out like 3 weeks ago

In a manual you wont go anywhere with the clutch in.... If the clutch pedal is out and you jam it into 1st it will jump and stall... Hmmm im not explaining this very well

in some manuals with high torque engines you can let the clutch out and the vehicle will just go...fast...in my Z06..i can let the clutch out in 1st or second with no gas pedal and im hauling...in an automatic..its more of a slow steady as she goes once you let off of the brake
