It was a tough decision...work with animals or engineer cars for GM...

I've just wanted to be a veterinarian for longer I guess. If it doesn't work out, I'll go into engineering.

Or if GM offers me a job, I'll take that too. They never got back to me about taking over Bob Lutz's job though. I had some pretty good ideas. :(

I tried the engineering thing for a while and it was interesting but just not what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Just do whatever you're more passionate about.

I think I'd get frustrated being an engineer with a lot of random ideas but no resources to do so. When I get an idea, I want to do it right away, not have to wait for people to approve the design or figure out if there's enough money to do it. Doesn't make a whole lot of business sense, but would result in some pretty good products.
