Navy has alot of close games.... they are a very tricky offense to stop. That tripple option gives everyone they play a case of the fits. They had a huge debate about this with the gameday crew. Their findal verdict was that OSU would look alot better against USC than they did against navy because navy has such a unique offensive scheme. Now if they lose to USC they will drop BIG TIME!

Because rankings are now more about winning/losing than how you actually play which in my mind is totally wrong. If a ranked team struggles against an unranked opponent when the guys below them don't, they need to drop....

This isnt about Navy this is about Ohio State. Obviously Navy has some offensive schemes that gave the OSU D fits, but its not about the teams its about the rank. A Top 10 team should blow out anyone they play who is unranked like Navy. Ohio state almost lost that game, and the rankings should reflect that they are infact over rated.

Obviously winning/loosing is a big factor, but when a team ranked in the top 10 struggles through an unranked opponeint they should drop a spot. This sport is too competative for that, esp. with teams like Boise and Utah going undefeated winning in convincing fashion. I think Ohio State should have dropped a rank.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO anyone but ARKANSAS Everyone knows about Texas/OU and of course Texas Vs aTm however back in the SWC days if you were a Longhorn and you were a Razorback that rivalry brought Blood to the surface. 1969 College Football Championship all over again HELL NO. I will go to Norman every year as a longhorn fan with a OU sucks shirt on and play a good OU team before I will go into Fayettville as a Longhorn fan lol

Didn't recall saying that they did. I did recall pointing out that the UF team (2nd string mostly) accounted for 56 points where as OU's first string accounted for 6.

And for all of you guys who say what's GONNA happen, without just playing around, you're tools. You don't know what's gonna happen. It may be BYU and USC. It may be Texas and Florida. Ohio St. and Okie State. How the heck are you gonna come on here and say what's GONNA happen and be serious?

Jeeze. You get knocked off in the first week and suddenly your the scrooge of the NCAA football thread. Predictions are educated guesses, not anything more. If you have an issue with that, I suggest you avoid college gameday, and just about every other ESPN program about football, they tend to be ''tools'' and give predictions.

I will tell you this. If Bradford has a strained A/C joint, he WON'T be back for Texas. Not unless it's a really slight strain. In 1997 I had the same injury and Bonnie was still helping me put my shirts on a month later. I hope it's not the same injury but it looked lime it. BTW, OUs defense held BYU to 14. I'll garauntee you it will be BYUs lowest scoring output of the year.

Hey it aint over till its over. But for OU, it looks like its over. Texas was the better team BEFORE Bradford got hurt. This is just going to all but lock in OU's 2nd (or 3rd if they loose to miami) loss.

All that being said, I'm still hoping to wake up tomorrow from this bad dream. lol

As to point one.,, That's fine. But I've been hearing that SEC thing for a helluva lot longer then the past 6 yrs. As far as OUs champ. record, they've got more than anyone in the SEC but Alabama. BUT, doesn't matter to me. I don't live in the past.

As to point two.,, What I meant was that Florida put those points up on a team that BYU or OU would have as well.

As to point three.,, Go back an read the thread. You can pick up the 'tools' and the ones who aren't.

As to point four.,, I've had the same injury and I can't see Bradford coming back before or even for Texas. Season over. Shame on Stoops for not having some playing time arranged for the backup. I can see the Sooners losing 4 games. No Bradford = mediocre team.

Yeah, I'll admit. from my view, your defence hasn't been the same since he left.
