Good news, I got the insurance check from the person that hit me. I am calling the body shop tomorrow morning and if all goes well I should be able to get the car in by wednesday and get it back by FRIDAY! and the company that gave me the check is also paying for a rental car while it is in the shop
 .

UPDATE:
I could have had him in the shop this morning but the rental place had no cars for me till next week. so monday morning I am dropping Monty off at the shop and the rental place is picking me up (they are just down the street). And he should be back in my driveway wed at the latest. I will post NEW pics after he gets his butt fixed  .

That's great, Dave!
It's too bad about how long it's taking. Lately, I've had my own experience with insurance and body shop stuff. And just when I get my car back, the ignition cylinder freezes on the GTO

wow, would you belive me if i told you I dropped off Monty on monday morning and the shop called me tuesday late morning and said he was all done? well it is true, I already have Monty home he is now resting in the garage, his butt still hurts but not as much anymore
. the body shop did a REAL good job and gave me a nice good size container of paint for all the little chips and minor scrapes in the lower part of the front fascia. I plan on spending a day this weekend touching up those little 'problem areas'. I will post some pictures tomorrow as it is too dark as I am typing this  .
