Time to say goodbye...or, see ya later! :)

As many of you know...I have been working through things to figure out what car to buy. I finally pulled the trigger today and put my deposit down on my choice.

My Decision: 2012 Corvette Grand Sport, Cyber Grey Metallic w/ Black Interior and Black Wheels.

She is a beauty. My wife and I fly down to TX to pick her up next week and then will drive her back. We're going to go sightseeing and make a little vacation out of it. After a lot of talk with the wife, she finally convinced me there was no point in compromising because of seats, when we have a family vehicle and insurance that covers a rental SUV in case ours is in the shop. The Camaro is every bit as much car as the Corvette in my mind...but it isn't MY dream car. I'm super happy and blessed to have an awesome and supportive wife.

Anyway, see a couple of pics below. I don't really have many more than that. Take care all and I hope to see you all on the flip side.

Very sweet ride! Congrats! I thought about getting a Corvette , but thought the tires would be really expensive to replace, which is why I decided to go with the Camaro. 😎 I know it's sounds crazy.😄

That is actually pretty reasonable. It's a $1500 experience each time...at least with Michelin Pilot Super Sports...but that's mounted and balanced...and they have a 30k warranty so hey...lol. Once every 3 years isn't bad!

Check your warranty - Michelin cuts the warranty in half, 15K for staggered sizes.

I don't have PSS on them, just was quoting the price and what it said on the site. If it's 15k that's fine. Either way, the Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar Runflats are decent enough and that's what is on the car. I'll run those until they're bare. Haha.

Congrats, even though I tend to like bright colors on Corvettes, the grays and silvers are subtle sexy.

Nice! Congratulations. My wife and I have thought about a Corvette but I don't think my knees would like that low of a drop getting in and out.

If you pass through OKC on your way back to Indiana give me a shout. We'll see how much "warranty" we can remove from those tires.

Thank you all so much. I can't wait to see her in person and sit in her for the first time. Still have 6 days though. Seems like it is taking forever. As for burning the tires to shreds....well, I don't know about all that. Lol
