Rechecked the torque on my rocker arms cause there was a weird tick and it's definitely gone from the drivers side but I think I didn't torque the bolts correctly on the passenger side. Forgot that the valves are opposite of the drivers side. Going to double check tomorrow after work but it's definitely smoother idling.

Oh and I washed her for the first time in three months! She so clean.

Drove my friends daily driven 2013 Ram 1500 at Royal Purple Raceway today, 5 minutes from his house to the track, that's the only time ive ever driven it. And made it all the way down to 3 cars in the DOT Street class in it. actually lost to him and his 78 Malibu on his way to the overall event win today, had a lot of fun and made some money too.

I dropped my car off to get them to look at my "wiggle" in the ass on Friday. They didn't get a chance to look at it. I stopped by later in the day and talked with them. They were swamped and I know days like that can happen. I told them to hold it for the weekend and give me a call on Monday. They are closed on Sat, but the owner called me, he was taking a look at it. Sweet deal!! Raymonds is an awesome shop that are very trustworthy with many types of racing/performance rides.

Hopefully it's something small, easy. But I want it fixed so I don't have that tendency to lift in the 1/4.

think they could tackle a cam and converter install? I've been looking for some good shops to get quotes from.

I was nosing around over there last night...not posting because I don't want, own or will own a Gen 6..

It seems like it's a good car, but holy crap quality issues right off the bat. I'm kind of surprised really.

They also build race cars, I'm pretty sure they could tackle that. They are the support team for the guy that won the Optimum challenge last year.

Think one of the lifters on cylinder 8 needs to be replaced. Balls. Haven't check yet but I'll be checking later. Really hope it doesn't need to be replaced lol

Just get yourself a nice new set of LS7's and pop those in...might as well do them all at the same time.

Yeah if it turns out to be lifters then I'll be getting a full set. Just the thought of taking pretty much the whole motor apart is almost annoying. Mostly because of the time it'll take, not worried about doing the actual work. At least I won't have to deal with valve keepers/locks. Worst part on the motor lol

Yeah, I heard back.
Boo it cost money....hehehehe.

Hank: Just calling to see if you guys had a chance to look at the car?
Shop: Yes we did, and we are looking into what options you will want to take. As it is the bushing. Oh, and the back tires are worn, you can see the treads on it. It's the trailing arm bushings, so you can replace the bushing or the whole arm. I will see what we can get. (like BMR, Detroit Speed, etc.)

That is when I stopped reaching for the cash, and started looking at the credit card...hehehehe. I knew I was going to need tires this year, not a shocker. So I told them were I got my last ones if they were not able to get them. I love those tires in wet/rainy weather, they grip awesome. So we will see what my options are. I am definitely not one to always go the cheap way out. That way, is sometimes more expensive in the long run.
