Hello,
I've had a few musle cars in the past and still curently have a 69 chevelle.
But now also have bought a 2011 2ssrs in november and have been learning by reading the power potential of these cars. Been loving every minute of driving it so far. No tickets yet......

Emphasis on yet! It's pretty easy in our cars. There are a few downsides to the 2011 SS, along with a few positives! One bad thing for example is that if you want to add a strut tower brace and you have an early 2011 like me, you'll need an adapter because the strut tower was changed mid-way through the year. If you have a late 2011 though it's literally six screws and couldn't be easier! A positive is that we have the last year before they changed the steering wheel to the generic Chevy wheel. Ours says "Camaro" on it which is pretty cool. anyway, welcome to the family! The Camaro is a great car with tons of available modifications. It's also very fun..

Good point about the steering wheel. Also I'm not sure if the new wheel has SS on it.

The 2016 has a brand new flat bottom wheel. It's really nice

Also, look up how to find out if you have a "strong" or "weak" mas air flow sensor. And if the car has ever had lower octane fuel put in, it de-tunes it. So you can pull a fuse to reset it to 91 or whatever. Just some good things to do right at the start

CONGRATS on your ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!
