Hmm...I've seen a white SRT8/Hellcat with the "brass monkey" wheels...it's a good combo...

Might look good!

You going to get me some pictures of how that Dr. Colorchip worked?

I almost bought white wheels, but decided against it.

Ohhh, i honestly hated dark green on cars until i saw a 2015 silverado. I still might have gone with rally yellow, possibly even synergy green if it were still offered, though i do love my black. I have always liked Jetstream blue on the c6's. I saw one in the CPO section at a local chevy dealer with the chrome 5 split spoke wheels and red calipers. Dayum thats a nice color for a corvete.

Yeah give me a couple minutes to throw them into photobucket and I'll post back here with em!

Here we go...

Small chip before:

Small chip after:

Big gash before:

Big gash after:

I think the big one showed the most improvement. Obviously this is no where near as good as a repaint or professional job but when you use something to really smooth the paint out over the chip it fills in very nicely so I would say the key is to get a small squeegee that you can use to smooth the paint out with. For $40 bucks I'm happy with it for sure but time will tell if it can stand up to being buffed. I will also be trying to smooth them out a bit more after this paint sits for a little while.

Nice! Don't feel bad about the swirls, I still haven't compounded or polished my car yet so I have a decent number from the previous owner

She's the daily, so I don't really care as much when it comes to swirls. It would be a full time job to keep her perfect. I have some Optima Poli-seal that I got to try out. It's supposed to be a light polish and a sealant in one. Got it off the recommendation of a friend that ran his own detailing business. Gonna try using it soon to see how it works. The Rex needs some love.

I usually coat my Camaro with DuraGloss 111 and it seems to remove some smaller swirls and fill in the rest. The thing I love the most about DG111 is I can put it on in the middle of the day when its sunny outside. So I usually just use that and it'll last a decent amount of time. I gotta try that poli-seal though I've heard good things
