So. I seen this go fund me campaign. Girl spends all her money on powerball. Loses naturally. Says she is broke and needs help to pick her self up and try to hit it big again. Gains 800 in donations in a short period of time. Is this what our society has come to? Encouraging stupidity? Here is the link if your interested in reading.

The stupid people in this story are the ones who actually gave her money. Can't blame her for trying.

Anyone looking for an intake for their 2010-2012 SS? Buy my Vararam! Or trade me your CAI or ADM intake...

I talked about my issues with the Vararam in the big intake thread and I decided I want a better built product. I would even take a Z/28 intake over the Vararam at this point lol

I'm not familiar with the construction of the 5th gen Vararam. I do remember when the GTO version was in development and came out. So much hype................ and nothing. People can barely give them away. lol

Yeah there are rough edges to the product that's for sure. People still love them though for the 5th gen. I really like mine but I want a more finished product. I've nearly had the MAF fall out of the intake because the screws for it are nylon and they strip even if you look at them funny. They will send more for free but any time I've had them sent to me they aren't packaged properly and fall out in transit

If they had better MAF screws I would probably deal with it. It definitely produces gains and the car is much quicker with it on

Try a hardware store for some sturdier replacements. The best setup for the GTO is an Over the Radiator design. It actually sucks in air from the front grilles. The Vararam design requires that you remove the baffles from the cosmetic hood scoops in order to suck in fresh air from the there. Most of the nicer looking installs required a lot of doctoring to get a good seal and decent looking finish. It is the cheapest Over the Radiator intake for a GTO but not the most effective. The next cheapest being 100$ more.

I'll give that a shot but these screws are tiny. I'll check an auto parts store as well just in case they might have screws. Still going to try and sell/trade it though as other intakes offer very similar gains
