I have never been to a casino before but when I do eventually make it to one I'll probably stick to blackjack and might give Texas hold 'em a shot. Was decent at Texas hold 'em in high school when my friends and I played

I've had my credit card stolen (no physically but used in other states I've never been in) twice in the last year.

Good luck with your debit card
Someone tried to steal my card number. So my bank called me and cancelled my current card. But they sent everyone new cards because they are merging with another bank and I can't use the new card until the 25th

Ok young folks. We are supposed to talk about our struggles and such so here goes. I'm 26, Served in the Military for 6 years. Stuck in a dead end job, simply because my area is dead economically. I can't in good mind relocate to utilize the degree I hold because I do stay with my father who is in poor health. I spend every free moment working on my book which I'm planning on launching within the next two months. I'm preparing to sell my low mileage GTO (I own it, just want out of it while the market is still fair for the car) for a beater so I can bank money for the downpayment on my Camaro next year. Everything just feels overwhelming lol How do you guys generally deal with that feeling(s)?

suck it up and move on. lol. Well, kind of. It's easy to focus on the struggles in life, because they just seem to keep coming. Stop and look at the good parts in your life. Your health, being with your father, working on your book...there are good things to be very thankful for out there without focusing on the bad. It's always a "glass half full", but it's what you do with it..always has been, always will be. Go find some happiness!! Go find a hobby that gets you out and about... travel, photography, helping friends, going to concerts, relaxing on a beach. But you have to have a little "Nike" in you.... Just Do it!

I tell myself the "Nike" phrase a lot. It has gotten me through some trying times. Things are difficult and it can be a lot worse, it has been worse but I've always been able to pull myself through them times. Maybe I do need some hobbies, Very few things I enjoy anymore. Been 5 years since I've been to the beach... or any vacation for that fact lol I'm aware of the suck it up butter cup phrase all to well. I tell a lot of my friends that on a daily basis who reach out for advice. I'm hoping my book does well, that would be an amazing breath of fresh air. The few people that have previewed parts of it think it is excellent, so that is something!

Take a vacation and get away from things for a while if possible, bring your dad if it's possible as I'm sure he would enjoy it. You seem to have a great drive so I wouldn't focus on negative things at the moment and try to find the positives. For me I have really started to realize how nice it is to watch the sun rise. Sounds gay, but it's really cool lol helps me tell myself 'you're still here, keep kicking ass'

Hobbies are also a good out. Go fishing, hiking, build models or anything that you find interesting. You'll have the Camaro in no time, what kind of beater are you looking at?

I'm thinking something older, decent fuel economy, maybe an AWD or small 4x4 pickup. I did see some higher mileage cruze's listed within 100 miles for 6-7k. So there is that. We haven't had a harsh winter this year and I can usually dodge mountains if need be so I wouldn't mind spending that much on a newer model beater. Its also tempting to buy a 1500 cavalier and buy a CD with the remainder of the funds from my car sale. I got offered 14.5k for it yesterday.

Nice putting the remaining money away to earn more would be a good call. I'd try and spend a little more on the beater than 1500 if it means you get a better or potentially more reliable car. I think cavaliers are reliable but I don't know too much about em.

if halfway cared for they are reliable. My buddy had one when we were in highschool. We flipped it into a river. Had someone drag it out and we drove it to his house. New wind shield and a hammer fixed most of the damage. Thing was still running strong at 270k miles when he sold it a couple years later lol.
