The Big Three
So, it all comes down to this. The moment Nissan, Porsche, and Chevrolet have been waiting for. Which would you prefer, a Nissan GT-R V-spec, Porsche 911 GT2, or a Corvette ZR1? Dont include money as a factor on this pole. One more thing, dont just vote ZR1 because its a Chevy................or even American. I'd have the GT2 for three reasons.
1) GT3 Handling 2) 911 Turbo power 3) Flawless Porsche engineering |

I do not care how well the GT R handles it is still ugly and no way I am going to drive a 70k ugly car. Porche still looks the way it did in the 70's ho hum. Corvette is Corvette need I say anything else.

Gotta go with the Porsche. Small and nimble just does it for me. Hence why I think I'd abhor the GT-R.

Obviously a bit biased since I am a HUGE Chevy fan, but I'd still go with the ZR1. I think the GT-R is a nice car and has hell of a an engine sound for a V6, but it seems to lack soul somehow. The Porsche is one of the prettier 911's to date, but to me it just seems old guys are the only ones driving Porsche's around here.
And in any case the ZR1 has impressed the hell out of me at every turn. |

I picked the ZR1. I like cars I can work on myself and the 'vette seems like the easiest to work on out of the three.

ZR1 for 3 reasons:
1. I like the looks of it... something about the long front hood just does it for me... and the C6 body has that... the other two dont. 2. I like my engines big and powerful... with lots of mod potential... the Porsche and the GT-R dont have that... they do have mod potential, but by the time I'm finished with it, the ZR1 would be able to rape them at any track, straight line or otherwise. 3. Corvettes have a very comfortable feel to them... and while their interiors might not be as avant garde as the Porsche or the GT-R, they're funcional and easy to live in. add to that the fact that the Porsche will, almost assuredly, have a rougher ride and the fact that the GT-R will have a alot of road noise and awd quirks that I just dont like, and the ZR1 becomes my favorite choice... with money as no object, I'd still buy American... its just the way I roll.

I voted for the GT-R, thought the Porsche was a close second.
I don't know why, but the ZR1 just doesn't do it for me

Hey don't feel bad. Of course there's a natural inclination here to go for the ZR1. We're Chevy fans for a reason. But there will always be at least one car in a brand's lineup that doesn't do it for you for whatever reason, and that's cool. I voted for the Porsche, but I wouldn't say no to any of these cars. I agree, they are the Big 3 because they're all very, very, very amazing cars.

I would take any Corvette over any Porsche and every nissan, sorry to break the rules " dont just vote ZR1 because its a Chevy................or even American" , but those are 2 major factors, American... and GM

Anyway, its not that I don't like it, I just think its a bit over hyped, I'd still take it if it was given to me After all, they are all amazing cars. |
