Just saw pics of the production Lincoln Continental on Autoblog, I'm a bit disappointed in the changes they made to the exterior. When I saw it in person at the NY auto show I loved it, but it appears to have lost something in translation. Although what they did with the interior is Fantastic!

442 was an Oldsmobile nameplate!!!!

And agreed the Continental lost a little from the concept, but IMO it is still a very good looking car

Really, this (pic attached)? I never was a fan of the first gen Fusion. Didn't like it until the second gen came out in '13...

I like the second gen better than the first too. But on the current Fusion, I don't like the ovoid shaped grill.

Wait, I'm confused...lol.

There have only been two Fusion generations. The one I posted above and the current one. All they did for '17 was change the front bumper cover, grille, headlights, and taillights. Just a refresh...

Apparently Jalopnik is reporting that in an interview FCA more or less confirmed a Hellcat powered SRT Grand Cherokee "before the end of 2017"

Not to mention the fact that concepts don't have to abide by the restrictions imposed by mass production. There are all sorts of little things in the details that can be done to make the concept look more impressive than it will when rolling down the assembly line. Special paint, tweaked proportions (usually lower & wider), oversized wheels, smaller side mirrors, grill size, ride height, on and on. Change a bunch of things a little bit so that it doesn't look too 'concepty', but it still has a much more dramatic presence than its mass produced descendants could ever hope for.


As such its not really fair to compare a concept to a production car.
