OP

Already several threads on the Buick concept. Another was not needed unless you are one of those, "Hey everybody look at me!", posters.

This car is gorgeous! I would certainly be interested in this car, assuming the production version of the exterior looks like this.

I know the interior would be different, but they usually do a pretty good job with Buick's interiors.

120 posts and you're the thread-starter sheriff. That's rich. I took a cursory look at the first couple of pages. It's not important enough to make an issue. No need for you to look and comment if you don't like it.

It's not about recouping costs on a platform. Is about identifying a market segment gap and then filling it. That buick is sexy as hell and appeals to a different group than the Camaro or ats do.

Compound that by the fact that the alpha platform is a truly capable and adaptable platform, they'd be silly to invest in another factory to produce what the chassis can already provide. And it's not exactly old either.

Having not considered owning a Buick since my 1987 Grand National, that's one which would get my attention. Pretty neat!

Lol...the 6th gen will sell well, just came out and I have yet to see any on the road around by me, I am one of the only ones around here in my area that even has one, and it will be like this for a while, at least until summertime.

The Buick Avista will most likely never get built, just like the Avenir, which has bits and pieces in the new Lacrosse.

The Camaro is an attempt to recoup development costs from the ATS platform.

/sarcasm

This is what manufacturers do. They share platforms across cars. I am excited to see one of these compared to the Camaro one day if it does get built, but I have a feeling Buick will do fine with its existing sales in China either way.

It depends - if the Chinese market wants it, they will build it. Buick is Huge in China!

I think it is Great looking - maybe the only Good Looking Buick ever!
