with Marshawn Lynch out, Vikings have a better chance. I'm pulling for the Vikings. Would like to see some fresh faces go deeper in the playoffs.

Actually, Tannenbaum wanted Marrone. Reports are Marrone interview was not great and Gase interview was. Which was Ross's pick.

And the paper bag is used for when your team is down at the browns level. Being mediocre isn't terrible. This year was bad, but wasn't expecting much with an interim HC/OC/DC. lol

I'll ask Chris when I see him to get the real story, BUT!!!

See what I'm saying??? You say Ross's pick, That has been the problem since he owned the team, He does not listen to the guys that know better than him. Let him stick the Real Estate, he should listen to the guys he put in charge.,

According to the interview on finsider today, Ross said he had outside consultants for the last HC hire (Philbin) and didn't listen to his own instincts. And that this time he used inside resources/committee and using his instincts. And I have very little faith in Tannenbaum. I'm kind of curious what Griers role is. He didn't even speak during the presser. I would be very interested in what he has to say, if you can talk to him and get some info.

As it turned out maybe Vontaze Burfict should have stayed in the tunnel after his interception and maybe taken Adam "Packman" Jones with him, my God two 15 yard penalties between the two of them on the same play!

my thoughts, Jeremy Hill is the main reason the bengals lost. good play by the steelers defense to strip the ball, but there are no excuses for a RB to not hold onto the ball. second, Joey Porter should have gotten an unsportsman penalty for being on the field and talking crap, which would have negated pacman's penalty, maybe even both penalties since it was technically the same play. and c, Burfict is a scumbag who deserves to be suspended a few games next season.

"Joey Porter should have gotten an unsportsman penalty for being on the field and talking crap", I think the ref was in a little better position to know who was "talking crap" and NO it wasn`t "technically the same play". Please explain that one if you can.

Do you not know who Joey Porter is? you could also see him going at it with the bengals. He shouldn't even be paying attention to them, if all he was doing was checking on Antonio brown. pacman isn't going to just go at it with joey porter for no reason. come on man. You are right, it wasn't the same play, but it would have negated pacmans penalty. meaning it would have been a 50yd fg attempt instead of a 35.

and don't act like the refs make the right call all the time.

that's what you get for playing 'not to lose'. the TD is in the offing but you'll settle for the FG. oops
thanks for coming, see ya next september.

well it was 4th down. 10 out of 10 times, kicking the game winning fg is the right call.
