looks just like the ugly c-max.

Why do manufacturers always do this with new tech? Why can't GM put this drivetrain in a normal looking vehicle?

Tesla proved its viable. They sold and delivered over 50k vehicles last year, and their average vehicle is $100k. I hope that this doesn't get thrown by the way side because GM decided to pick the ugliest possible design to debut an all-electric vehicle with a 200 mile range for under $40k.

Because as proven by the Prius, consumers in this market don't want a normal looking vehicle.

Even Teslas aren't exactly normal looking. And if you've ever met a Tesla owner they'll be sure to let you know their car isn't normal. -_-

People who want the absolute newest tech generally want to be seen as the New Tech Guy. They want their purchase to make a statement to everyone around them, then talk incessantly about how great it is (even when its not). Not everyone is like that, but it represents a very sizable chunk of the 'bleeding edge' market.

Also, Tesla ... . Everyone thinks that they're this great company thats shaking up the status quo. But really, its pretty much all smoke & mirrors. They can't seem to get the everyday things in their cars right, the company over-hypes and under delivers on new products, the batteries need replacement after around 60k miles, they rush things to market & fix it later rather than making sure its done right the first time, in a decade they haven't managed to turn a profit from selling cars (selling EV credits & such is where they make their actual money), their 'fast battery swap' scheme is basically fraud ... I'm sure I'm missing a few things. But that was just off the top of my head.

I wonder if that's too soon for an interior/exterior refresh. LGZ? I wonder if there are any substantial improvements over the LGX or of that's just the truck designation. They use LFX now though don't they? I wonder if they would pair that with an 8-speed transmission.

Buick reportedly will show a sports coupe concept at NAIAS.

Camaro might have a sibling.

Lots of names you could pull out of the hat. There's Riviera too.

Well, with it being a concept I doubt GM would actually use a 'real' name for it. More likely they'd go the 'Avenier' route and throw some nice sounding random name on it to keep the attention on what it is, rather than what people think it should be because of its name.

That said ... if its Camaro or ATS sized, I can see them using Skylark or Grand National/GNX.

If its CTS sized, I would put my money on Riviera
