Shorties and high flow cats have very similar gains to long tubes I think. Obviously long tubes will gain more but not by much from what I have read. Plus the joy of the HFC's is you can run em on stock tune!

I think that too. Nothing wrong with shorties. The restriction mainly comes from the factory cats. Longtubes have bigger collector sizes and the tubing is bigger but on a dyno the difference between 1-3/4 to 1-7/8 to 2 are a difference of about 5-10 whp from the 1-3/4th to 2" if I remember right

My Holley shorties still haven't shipped......
