High Flow Catalytic Converter Question

Ill try and make this short.

I will be buying the ADM supercharger kit very soon.

My question is this, because ill be shooting for 700hp.

Is there a HFC that someone produce's yet to withstand this amount of hp?

Do not use cats, they will eventually crap out. They don't rate them based on power. Save yourself the money now and get a setup without the cats or gut them.

Yes Dynatech LT headers and Supercats can take the abuse, we are using them in all of our builds with great success.

Just keep in mind your fuel pump and injectors need to be large enough to support the added fuel requirements of Cat Over Temp Protection fueling.

In addition to what Ted said, I'll add that your AFR needs to be perfect, to prevent failure. I would ditch them and go without, like mentioned.

Personally I can't stand the way the car smells without them, it gets in the interior my close and my garage, Yes I have been spoiled by Cats.

The AFR the engine requires can be within a 0.5 point range, and as long as the cat overtemp protection is working and you have enough fuel pump and injector the supercats will live a long happy life.

Can for sure tell you not to use SLP brand high flows, this is the one that the element actually stayed in the cat housing, I had to unclog the other one from the middle of my X pipe.
