Anyways back on topic. We have 4 different QB's competeing for the Job.... our backup now Brantley (who will go higher in the draft than Tebow), our starting CB Joe Haden who played QB in HS, and two top 10 QB recruits. This is our year though, the last horrah with Tebow spikes and the gang.

UF and Ohio State in the big one. UF wins 42 - 13
I can't support UF yet...lol our season is still good

lol ok well you at least have to admire what they have done, Urban takes over the program and has a chance to win 3 titles in 4 years, hes only been at the school for 5 .

Tebow wins the heisman, they go undefeated and win the title, they go down as the best team in the modern age of the NCAA, BCS era for sure.

I apologize for the rant, GTAHVIT. Just another Texas fan getting under my skin and making me say things I'll later regret.

BTW, thanks for your service to our country.

MIZZOU! Always been a Rams fan, I was at the preseason game when Trent Green blew his knee out and I saw Kurt Warner throw bombs all down field. My football coach was on the practice squad and said he caught a short pass from him when Green was still healthy, he thought Warner threw harder than Green did. And the Rams won the Superbowl in 2000

I am a proud member of the TexasExes Alumni. I disagree with your point. Simply because I graduated from there does not make me a true fan. Loyalty and a connection to your chosen team does. Using your logic, I hope you are not a fan of ANY pro sports, because you cannot be unless you actually were part of their team or organization.

I am alumni, I am a Longhorn, and I can accept anyone with a true love for the Longhorns and our traditions a fan......

2000-2004 Business managment degree
I stick with my Team Win or Lose.
Yes there are a lot of Fan base out there who only pick the winning team however I'm not one of them. I sat through the David Mc'williams Era not to mention the John Mackovic Era. I never even got to say out of my 4 years attending school there not one year did we Beat OU since there was a 5 year drought. I Ran Track down there so don't put me in the same catagory as Band wagon or tshirt Fans. I look down at my Finger and Wear my "T" Ring proudly everyday why ? I graduated from one of the finest divison 1 schools in the country not to mention one of the top if not the TOP ( aTm is another ) with in our state. I am proud to say im an Alumni of The University and look more at it from the education it gave me rather than the Wins a Football Team gives.

I'm from Trenton, New Jersey, moved to Bedford, Texas in 1987, and went to Texas Tech 1991-1995. I now live in Garland.

I think Jekyll-N-Hyde gets the point I was so poorly trying to make. Its the fans that wear the burnt orange now, but will sell it all at garage sale prices if they start losing, those are the ones I don't want to waste my time with. You all made some great points about loyalty that should not be ignored. My point about being alum was the wrong approach.

I am a Miami Dolphins fan. Figure that one out!

If our football team this year is anywhere near as good as our chicks are hot, we'll beat Miami and probably even Texas. But since we're not, it's going to be an interesting year. Miami is still definitely a winnable game for us though! It would be awesome to finally take down one of "the big three". (UF, FSU, Miami)
