Not too fond of them? Really considering Univ of southern Illinois. It's pretty cheap. I'd like to go to UofA but it's pricey and its harder to get into.

Police arnt the reason you need a lawyer, your actions will be the reason you need a lawyer. Just don't be the a**hat that always tells the cops to call their lawyer, even after being arrested and in jail. That's just pointless.

I am not ignorant of the law, I know police just are doing their job, but often times they do take for granted that the people don't know their rights. I on the other hand know my rights and simple don't let them walk on me, again this isn't true of all police. But I was getting pulled over 3-4times a week because of my car, people reporting me for speeding when I wasn't even speeding, the car is just obnoxiously loud haha. I've yet to receive a ticket.

completely understand that and I agree with what you say. but at the same time some people do take the "knowing their rights" to the extreme and really take laws and other things out of context.

I know what you mean with loud car thing too so I'm right there with you on that. I've been called on multiple times and gotten talked to by my supervising sgt about my driving because people associate loud with speeding. Also have a letter written on my driving because I was called on about speeding through a parking lot. Didn't know 1ST gear under 3,000 rpm could be considered speeding but ok. My old Sgt was a car guy so he understood. But at training last year I was literally yelled at by the training sgt because I was called on by people because I was "racing a bike" through a residential area with a speed limit of 30. The bike and I were doing 33.
