After Last years Game I smile hearing the PLayers speak of the taste of Blood for this game.

Ummm, I seriously doubt Leach himself moved the game to Sept 19, that is usually a decision made by both teams involved. And you of all fans should know that its better to lose a game early on in the season! Since the UT game is the toughest on our schedule this year, I think it was a brilliant decision to move it earlier.

I never understand why city bashing gets brought into this. Is that the only stuff you got?

A win is one thing. Ruining someone's national title hopes is another.

Actually I heard on ESPN Tech's athletic director and Mike leach agreed it would be better with the schedule they had to move the Texas Game to week 3 because if there was a game they possibly could lose it would be that game not saying they will. Losing earlier in the year is better than late Leach put it.
Texas agreed for the switch because it would be good competition before oklahoma plus after the road stretch of OU , OKIE St and Colorado an easier game would fit the team before heading into any further games. In the past few yeas Texas was tired going into the last game.
Both teams agreed but Tech brought it up first. Happened back in May if I remember.

I will give Tech one thing its better to be in tech than collie station atleast there you have parties and the women other than that you got Hot wind and Dirt lol

I can see how that can make your weekend lol not much happens in Lubbock to talk about besides winning a national championship I can't remember the last time a Texas or Oklahoma Team charged the field lol
I guess we are used to winning BIG GAMES. Yall won fare and square and had the right to brag for a year we had our chances. Now we get another shot at getting back on a winning Roll.

Do you expect anything else out of woody woodpecker ? Southbend finally started growing grass on the sidelines after he retired. Everytime he would get nervous he would kneel down and pick grass.

Anyone is liable to win the NS as long as they play there cards right the right teams win and lose and they stay healthy.
ND actually has a chance due to the very favorable schedule.

Please tell me you have a degree from UT. Otherwise I'm dismissing myself from this conversation. Thats too many uses of the word "we" for someone without a degree from the school. Tell me you at least went to school there, please! If you didn't go to school there, I don't take your fanhood seriously. Texas has fans all over the country, but a small fraction of them are actual alum. There are too many ex-students for me to care about to waste my time with unaffiliated fans.

Anyways back on topic. We have 4 different QB's competeing for the Job.... our backup now Brantley (who will go higher in the draft than Tebow), our starting CB Joe Haden who played QB in HS, and two top 10 QB recruits. This is our year though, the last horrah with Tebow spikes and the gang.


UF and Ohio State in the big one. UF wins 42 - 13
