I say if you care about her enough, and can afford to make the trip, go for it. Probably good to know if her feelings for you are the same as well.
Either way it's Amsterdam! Well worth the visit!

But like I said definitely make sure she will be okay with your visit. And make sure it's something YOU are really okay with doing.

All of my friends say we will probably end up together. Again though.... distance. I know it can work, it would just take effort, like everything else

What your friends say and what you and her feel are different. Like I said you just need to talk with her and discuss the choice to visit.

Obviously, I understand the whole distance thing, since Victoria and I are dealing with that right now. But we both want to be together, and I'm now visiting her in March and July for her birthday.

It does take a great deal of more effort compared to if she was within a reasonable distance of you, but ultimately you just need to decide if it's worth the extra effort. With long distance it's easy for doubt to try and consume you, but hopefully your girl can help reassure you, and you can reassure her.

Thats a thought question rebelyell...... So many different factors plays into that. I for one probably couldn't do it just because every single one of my ex's have cheated on me. My most recent ex lives 5 miles away...... And i couldnt trust her. So to earn my trust is a hard thing to do. You never really know somebody....... But if its something that you feel is appropriate and that you want to do then f*** it. Nothing should stop you...absolutely nothing. Go for that person at all cost, I've learned the hard way that happiness can't be bought.... When I was left by my ex, I had my Camaro, I had my loving family and I had my best friend....but that compainionship was missing, the thing that truly made me happy wasn't there. So if this person really makes you happy.... Distance doesn't matter. You only live once and you need to make the best of it.

It's amazing how much one person can change how you feel and how you view yourself and view life as a whole. I have and had so much even before that person.... My job, at the time, I couldn't have asked for more. I have and still have money. I have my Camaro (which I love) I have detialing as a stress reliever, I have the gym, I have myself and all that i have acheived to be proud of, I have an amazing family, I have the greatest bestfriend who I consider to be my little brother. I couldn't have asked for more. I dont know what I'm trying to say, take it how you want and interpret it how you want, just be careful and do what you feel is right. I guess what im saying is your never 100% happy and satisfied until you really find the person that completes you and loves you unconditionally and that when you find that person do whatever you need to do to keep them forever.
