I changed my email to a Gmail account account and no change.

I changed my email from shaw.ca to gmail.com and it works now.

Hmm...I did change it to the Gmail address yesterday and it said it already existed. I'll try it again tonight when I get home.

If it already existed then you may have an old account on C5 that's using it. I created a brand new g-mail account and had everything forwarded to my regular address. It works great.

I only created one account here on C5 as well as the Gmail account. I'll make a new one and see if that works. I don't recall seeing a forwarding option on the Gmail account.

Did some research on this with my ISP (very easy to contact them) and it turns out that email from www.camaro5.com is on a list of not so trustful mail servers. Not every ISP checks those kinds of lists to determine if a particular email should be delivered or not, hence not everyone is affected.

In this case, the check is made in advance of the virus/spam check, so it never enters the system and one has no way of knowing if one came in or not - sans the ISP contact story above. All my emails from this site get trashed daily and it's been that way for some time now.

I just changed my email address here on the forum to a gmail account and I'm hopeful that fixes the issue for me - no emails from this site for many months now.

Oh, so its your fix now? I seem to recall being the one that pointed out the fact that issues haven't been happening with common e-mail providers (gmail, hotmail/outlook, yahoo) to the entire site staff a day or two before you shared that in this thread.

btw, because of pcguy2u's post I have informed our admins that email from Camaro5 appears to have been blacklisted by some providers. So maybe they can get that sorted & the entire problem will get fixed

LMAO... yes I took your comments and ran... All those months went by and you didn't care about us low lifes with no e-mails.

I also don't buy into the blacklist deal. I've had service providers use that line on me too many times when my e-mail didn't work. We all know exactly when this happened. But then maybe it was just coincidence.

Heard back from my ISP contact and he asked me to try my old addy again - it didn't work. He checked some more and sent me this info yesterday:

"asking that they (the host of this site) fix their DNS / PTR records"
