Trick ----- to answer your question what the exhaust hood is for.

It will cover an electric stove, an old gas stove/oven (my grandmothers from the 1920's), and a 36" wide gas griddle will set on a counter top under the left 40" of the hood. A 900 cfm variable speed exhaust fan will remove the smoke when grilling. The train will pass behind all of them against the wall.

That is going to be cool John! Can't wait to see it completed.

Good morning. I did not sleep well & it was super hard to get out of the bed. Still cold here this morning. Supposed to warm up some later in the week but now they are calling for rain this weekend. We may need to plan a rain date for our cruise this weekend. HAGD crew.

The water is a cool 75*, so issues could happen.

Lots of rain today, so I'm sure the water temp is lower. Kinda nipply outside today.

You guys & gals crack me up. I finally got into my office space in the new school today. There were no curtains on the window which is an issue for confidentiality so we found some printed burlap & taped it up temporarily. I got some things set up now I just need a phone in there & a small table to play games on.

It is almost hump day, so I can kinda see why things might be getting kinda frisky in here.

In order to run a water line to the bathroom and a sink I had to run it along the top of the wall. So I enclosed it and dropped some LED rope lights on top of the pvc pipe for indirect lighting. Bought the rope lights for $9.00 for 30 feet on closeout at Menards after x-mas. Regular price was $27.00 for 30 feet. Looks like it is going to be worth the extra effort. I got both red and white ropes to put up.

That is so cool John! Some man cave you have got going there.

Another nippy morning here. Meetings this morning then seeing kids this afternoon before leaving early to go meet up with the Find New roads tour of Chevy execs bringing the 6th Gen Camaros & other new model Chevys. It will be a long day but fun!
