LOL. Go back to elementary school??????
I only managed to get one home visit done. One cancelled & I could not get any others scheduled. I have supervision & staff meetings in the morning & managed to get 2 home visits scheduled for the afternoon. I will take off Th & Fri. Clearly I will not be able to get enough clients scheduled to fill more days this week. I will still have to make up that productivity. It is so sad that mental health treatment has now become a numbers game with threats of write-ups or even termination if you "don't make your numbers". Daddy goes in for his CT scan in the morning. My sisters are going to go with him. I told them to keep me posted. I will go if I need to but we are all trying to be somewhat conservative with out time in case we need it worse later.

You must have a job like my wife....she helps families in crisis come up with plans to better themselves....and hears the same thing about keeping the numbers up.
Good luck and best wishes to your Pop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Up early for stupid meetings. yuck. Definitely going to need that coffee this morning. Not sure how much I will get to see the daughter before she heads home. Seems she has scheduled herself meet-ups with HS friends and a facial. We don't seem very high on the priority list. Kids these days. HAGD crew.

Good luck with your Pop Jan. Both mine passed within two weeks a couple of years ago after 70 years of marriage. And I feel your pain.....going to be without my daughter for a good long while. She is off to warrant officer school and then rotary wing school, leaving today.

Morning All - Fast week & a lot of driving! I was in Greenville, SC Tuesday night for a dealer Open House. Got up yesterday morning and went by Hawks Third Gen Camaro's in Easley, SC to get some parts for my IROC. Headed to Daytona Beach this afternoon for a customer dinner roast. Should be fun!
Hope everyone has a great day!

Sounds fun Trickskier.
It sure felt good to sleep in this morning. I just don't understand kids today. My daughter scheduled up all her time here with her friends, going out partying, getting facials, etc, then acts like it was my fault that I was not available the tiny windows of time she had left. She called last night saying her plan was for me to drive out to the far side of Clarksville (about an hour drive) to meet her & my in-laws at a restaurant at 11:00 today. when I said I was not sure that would work out she said in an unpleasant tone "Well I advise you to be there". I asked her what she meant by that & she started fussing about me not being available during the day yesterday when I was working & unable to get out of the meetings & other work at the last minute. I told her it's okay as it is clear where your priorities lie. It was clear she was in one of her moods so I just ended the conversation & told her I'd get with her this morning. The reality is my in-laws will also tell her they don't go to restaurants any more as Mike's dad, just is not physically able to get out & sit around like that due to problems with his back & constant pain. I do not plan to go. She just thinks everyone needs to sit around & wait on her to grace you with her presence on her schedule. Most of the time even if she agrees to meet you a certain time you end up waiting on her to get there when she is good & ready. I had plans to finish going through the photos for the Christmas present for her & her brother today as they need to get sent off soon to get done in time. Meeting her up there would take out most of my day and that task would not get done. Plus I know the in-laws won't want to do it either. I plan to wait until she has time to have called them then call her. I just don't understand how we ended up with a generation of kids who think the world revolves around them & should cater to them without any awareness of the lives of others. Rant over.

I agree, society has bought into this whole "I deserve everything because I am alive", without taking any responsibility to society and improving it. Some how, everyone is a victim of something, even the people with weapons killing others blame someone and pretend to be victims of society themselves. Apparently the more stupid things you do, the more approval you get.

I experienced the same treatment from the older generation in my family. My mother, aunts, and uncles expect me to make the effort, sacrifice the time, drive the distance, or take whatever means necessary to come visit THEM. Never mind the fact they were all retired.
Oh, and it appears to me when they got older and retired, their dial pads from all of the phones disappeared. God help me if I forgot to call them, but they feel they should never HAVE to call me. Not just the kids the world is revolving around. ![]() During my last visit, however, my sister met me half way for a visit. We had a great meal and a great time! Neither of us put out more effort than the other. Wow! rant over
