Manning continues to throw short and back shoulder throws just fine. I don't think he completed a deep sideline throw yet again, with MANY overthrows. His accuracy just doesn't seem to be there on deep throws anymore, and he is erring towards the overthrow I believe. It also seemed like his throw was flatter (arm strength?) so it wouldn't give the receiver a chance to get under it.

He also got sacked and hit a bunch. I worry he won't make it through the year.

He has a new front line... newbies making rookie mistakes. When he is under center, he doesn't have time to set up... shotgun is his playground. Kubiak is messing with his play calling too. If you noticed his game w/ KC, once he started to go back to shotgun no-huddle formation in the second half, he was hitting his mark.

He was hitting his mark on short and medium passes. I think the only "long" pass was down the middle, and the safety was in single coverage, so he wasn't well covered. I think 4-5 long passes on the sideline were ALL way long (exept one that was about 2 feet long). Some of these were after he went to shotgun.

I stand by my point that he will have a very tough time throwing long sideline routes. A good defense will creep up and cover the shorter routes like Seattle did in the Super Bowl. Earl Thomas was really challenging him all game long to throw deep. That was a while ago too...his deep arm accuracy has gotten worse since then.

I guess we'll see as the season progresses.

I don't know in what way the Patriots cheated as yet (always tomorrow for some kind of ESPN story to come out) but ripping that Bills defense IN BUFFALO looked surprisingly easy.

Romo out of the game. Looked like a separated shoulder/broken clavicle. We'll see what it is. Not good.

Somehow the Cowboys pooped out another one even with Romo out. Gad to see Murray with only 11yds rushing on the season. F-ing trader anyhow.
