I would not tint the headlights. I have the RS package and with tint (XPEL smoked covers) they made the lights extremely dim. Probably more dim than the standard non HID lights. Taillights on the other hand, I've had my best friend drive behind me and confirm that he could easily see brake lights during the day. Smoked covers on the taillights look great. I had my headlights tinted. Took it off.

I think tinting the headlights might actually be illegal. I know if you go beyond a certain amount in md at least it's illegal on the tail lights. Mine look a little darker during the day but once it starts to get into the evening they look black. Used VHT Nite Shades. I think it was 3-4 coats, first coat was light and just got heavier from that one. Took maybe two hours start to finish. Dries very quickly which is nice.

That's what I would do, especially since it would become a safety issue when driving at night. It would look really good, but if rather see where I'm going at night lol tail lights are easy to tint. You can get tint film for them but I'm not skilled enough to make them work lol

depending how dark the tint, but the tail light tint is also a safety issue, as it's harder for people to see you from behind, at night...

edit: and if you get rear ended, all they would have to do is point to your illegal tint, and be off the hook.

The one that's on Phastek's website, you can see the break lights fine at night
