Someone paid all that money for an electric car to rip out all the batteries and install an engine? It would have been cheaper to buy an LS powered car.

Now if they were able to make it a hybrid using the LS and electric motors, then that would be some kind of freak beast.

That pic/story was going around the web a while back. The car in the pic was for a display or something for a show and that motor was just propped in there for the pic as a joke to their bossor something? Don't remember the details exactly, but it's not a real project.

The stock Model S P85D can do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and does a 10.9 1/4 mile. I don't see the point of doing a LS swap in this case.
