Best GM car ever
Just out of curiosity (and because I am bored on a saturday night), what would you consider as GM's best/most important car? I mean, besides the Camaro. But any criteria is fine: style, revolutionary technology, longevity,
So, what would you say? The 57 Chevy? Brand new CTS? Geo Prism? Buick Road Master? Hummer H1?

1955 Chevy.......in 1955 the company's new 265-cubic-inch "small-block" V8...the introduction of that changed the whole game for GM

No matter what the year, The pick up is an in my opinion will always be a vital member or the GM family. In the worst of times and the best of times, the workhorse, will always be the truck. ( I know I own a Ford right now)

The best? Thats a hard question to answer. I love my Grand Nationals, Hurst Olds', Corvettes, Camaros, and CTS-V, among others. The best I could probably do is narrow it down to a list of about 25 cars. Heh.
The most important could/should be the Volt. It could flat out save the company. I know we are all riding a wave of happiness atm, but the work is far from done. |

Too many to count...too many cars have been influential in the history of GM...
And if you want to see the best of General Motors...just stay tuned...the coming years are looking to be the most exciting years ever for new products...every one of them designed to destroy the competition.

Well let us hope and pray! I would like to see some 1970's Camaro features in a modern Camaro...could be a cost-effective "refresh" in a few years...different nose, rear quarters, rear fascia...could use the same chassis, interior, tranny, etc.
My vote for best ever GM vehicle: 1963 Corvette. They look gorgeous even by today's standards. |
