The fine is 115$, but I planned to fight it instead since the cop doesn't actually have proof it was me, he didn't see me, he only heard me.

That's why I was wondering about the court date, because the thing here is I can pay the 115$ fine before the court date, or appear in court the day listed on the ticket. Well if I choose to appear in court, but the date on my ticket is a date the courts will be closed, that isn't my fault.
