Me too.. I have raced and beaten several bolt on 5.0's and it's been very close. I stayed door to door with one all the way through 4th gear, it was awesome. The only mustang that smoked me so far was a Shelby and I knew that was coming.

Stupid thread. I came from the Mustang world, and that ghost cam is pretty cool. There are a 1000 things all of us do to our cars, and about 900 of them add no power.

Oh I know all that....thats my point since the axleback was mentioned as making noise only.

That's crazy because around here a stock 5.0 would be handing you your ass if you're running a 12.9

If there was some $195 gizmo that gave our cars a lumpy idle sound they'd sell about two trillion of them on this site. Fact.

At least your out there running your car. I lined up against a shelby last year. I didn't care that I would lose. It was close till he got traction lol. My mods make up the difference in weight between the camaro and mustang. Sure there are cars faster then mine. I'll keep the camaro for now.

I don't agree....I think members are a step above that....we are more of a catch can or throttle control kind of crowd.

This is COMPLETELY true, we have a running joke here is metro detroit about mustangs hitting trees lol..they run off the road because they are just awful handling.

I'll be the first to admit that I'd buy one.

Hell, our forum members spend $200 on a devise so they don't have to press the pedal as far!

They make over 400 at the wheels with a CAI and tune... They're fast

OP didn't say they were slow, he just thinks the ghost cams are stupid. I would have to agree but I don't think I would have started a thread about it. I don't care if people have it and like it. Just not for me, I don't like it on Camaros either.

Grechen is right though, it's not much different than a muffler delete or an axle back.

Seriously? Randy Pobst compared a 2011 M3 vs 2011 5.0 and guess what, the Mustang more than held its own vs the M3. But then again, you are probably a better driver than RB to make your conclusion of the 2011-2014 Mustangs.
