GOPRO CAMERAS FOR THE FEST?
The fest is quickly approaching. I am considering a last minute purchase of a GOPro camera. I know there are quite a few people using these for cruises etc. Which one would you recommend? I think for the 10 1/2 hour road trip it could be really cool? As well as all of the activity in and around town that weekend THANKS!

I have the 3 & 4 GoPro they both work great. The 4 has some better features and is smaller. I would go for the 4 if the $$$ makes sense to do it. Get an extra battery, memory card. You will find out you will need it

I have 2, my son has 3. They work great & very good video. Held up at Daytona running over 150mph.... It's all about how much you want to spend. The wifi in the newer model is worth it. You can control from a smartphone & see what the camera sees.

I just upgraded to a 4 silver and it is great!! I suction it to the car and control it with my phone. Still need to do some range work to see if my wife can turn it on and off from the grand stands. It also has a touch screen on the back if you're just walking around and filming.

I guess I will have to look at a couple. I really like the idea of controlling one with my smart phone. The dash cam certainly is an option I did not think of. Certainly is a less expensive way to go. Hum..... Do they come with all of the accessories i.e. different mounts etc.. Or are they also separate?

Dash cam sounds like a good choice really all I need it for.

I have (4) Hero 3+ Black Edition Go Pros. They work very well.

Looks way better in 4K, but that uses a lot of memory and shortens the battery life some
