You want to know the funny thing about all this?

Yesterday a U-haul was in front of the place. Their patio furniture is gone, their a/c is out of the window, neither of their cars are in the lot, and it's the end of the month.

The buggers moved. Fate screws me out of fun once again.

Anybody want a second hand aquarium pump?

The urine thing is starting to look attractive.

Never thought I'd type those words.

Seeing as how MA is much like NY weather wise I don't see how this could be much of a problem. When it's not snowing and too cold to be outside 5 months out of the year, it is raining. For those 12 days a year when it is not raining or snowing the wind is blowing 50-60 mph. Therefore, you should never smell any smoke.

You never know. The next tribe could be worse. Or maybe they'll be pot smokers and you be able to get high for free.

Oh, those last folks were bad enough. I was having headaches a lot, like 5-6 days a week. I had a headache for 4 days straight in May. I was talking to EHS at work about monitor screens, getting different lights in my cube...I haven't had a headache in three days. I thought it was something at work. It was them.

I am in the same situation. We had to tape up every vent in our apartment .....the problem is they also smoke pot (some might not see this as a problem). Called the apartment about this issue several times but they said there is nothing they can do about it.

Our dog now uses the patio as a pee pad. Muhahahahaha.

You need to blast Beach Boys every time they smoke, too.

Yes they can if they really want they can make the building completely smoke free, it's their building they can make whatever rules for living there they want.

That is what I was told. Only certain states have smoke free living. I always lived in those states so it just surprised me when they said there is nothing they can do. They said by stating no smoking they are discriminating against smokers which I was told is illegal in this state.

Its what I can afford so I have to just suck it up.

The state does not have to have a law for the owner to make that rule, that is up to the individual property owner when the state has no law. They make rules about owning pets as to if you can have a pet and to what type/size pet is acceptable or not acceptable. There doesn't have to be a no pet law for them to ban or restrict pets that I know of. So it's ok to discriminate against pet owners but not smokers...

ohhhh I get what you are saying and totally understand but as long as I am living here I am shit out of luck.

When told I wanted to break the lease to more somewhere else they said good luck but all apartments must allow smoking.

The painters are here to prep the apartment for the next tenants. They have the windows open and fans going, and the stink is pouring out of the apartment
