What sucks is the closest drag strip to me now is 2.5 hours away. Bit too far of a hike. But I will take a beer

Mine is an hour away. But when I'm in Baton Rouge it's about 20 minutes away

The one that was just shut down near me was about 30-45 minutes away. Track wasn't very good though as at the end of the track you were 18 ish feet higher than the start line. But my dad still ran a 13.3 in a bone stock 98 Z28 A4 which is fairly good apparently.

I know that track. I know a few people who sneak on the track at night to race when no one is there.

Yeah 75/80 is getting torn down and having some old folks home or center put up there. That's funny how people would sneak out there at night and race. I remember seeing funny cars there once or twice. They made that track look tiny.
