Slight differences...nothing dramatic to call the Hellcat menacing over a Scat Pack.
Nope visually their aren't alot of differences. But mash the right pedal and......

Same argument could be made about the 1LE vs the Z28. To the average joe, "there arent many visual differences, can hardly tell them apart". But to the TRUE car guy, the differences are obvious and jump at you.

very true, but I do think the Z/28 looks more aggressive than the Hellcat.

Yeah the tire choices kinda suck. Both summer&all seasons are 275's. Just imagine it with the same type of wheel/tire combo the ZL1 has... I am trying to find an aftermarket wheel / tire set up similar to my Z to go on HellGato when it shows up.

The Challenger looks good to me doing a walkaround but everytime I see one on the road I'm like, ugh, what behemoth taxi cab. Tall with skinny tires, bleh.

I'm always struck by the tall and skinny tires too. I mean it really jumps out to me. Overall good looking but looks old school, 70s stance so seems dated

I haven't been able to find any dealers around here ready to play. I haven't tried very hard yet either. I'm kind of waiting to see more real world results. I'm very happy with my ZL1 and went through hell to get i . Get wait to here what you thing. Congrats

Hellcat gets a bad rap for not being able to handle. Watch this video and try and keep an open mind. Now it's not a Z28. But its not as bad as people's opinions according to this. I own a ZL1 and have a Hellcat on order so in a few months I will give my comparison. I'm not a fan boy for either car just love American muscle in all forms.
Your wasting your time with this video, as most here will rule it out because Randy wasn't driving both cars on a track that 99.99% of us will never race at, nor could ever begin to explore the limits of the Hellcat, nevermind the Z/28. In this forum recently street and strip performance has been declared dead, it's only about magazine lap times.

It'll be suddenly back in vogue next year when GM finally fields a SS that can Hang at the Strip. As soon as Motor Trend say the Camaro is a 10th faster than anything in the 1/4 it'll be 1998 all over again! Watch how quick nobody cares about road racing anymore when it can win at the drag strip.

You are so myopic.

Members here acknowledge the GT500 and Hellcat as much faster than the ZL1. If you follow Camaro6 at all you will see numerous thread saying Chevy needs to answer its rivals in the power to weight department.

What you do not seem to retain is that this buying group is looking for more than only straight line acceleration. If is were, the GT500 would be the next choice for most as it handles reasonably well. Getting to 700 HP isn't mission impossible
