Sorry to hear about your water heater Rick. We replaced ours several years ago with one of those tankless units that heat the water on demand so it never runs out. It has worked well and the endless supply of hot water is nice. Good luck on the sale Jan I understand it can be emotially tough but its the right thing to do.

I had a really nice weekend we went to Cleveland for a ball game yesterday and had fun. My in-laws celebrated their 50th anniversary this weekend so all of the family is in town and we went to a mass today where they renewed thier vows and a small party afterwards.

Tomorrow is our 24th anniversary so we are going to go to dinner with the family again as my sister in law will be here till Tuesday morning. I will have to work tomorrow however as I am still way too busy to even consider a day off right now. I will try to limit my OT to only an hour tomorrow so I can get home around 5. I will continue to remain on call however for at least another month or two.

We went for a nice long country drive in Mike's Camaro leaving mine parked. Mine is squeaky clean & his was already dirty. We have a car show next weekend & I really did not want to have to completely wash & de-bug mine. We went by & visited Mike's parents for a while then to see my dad. Daddy was making more complete sentences today but most of the time talking about who-knows-what. He did say a few things that made sense & was funny a few times. My sisters came by & we all visited together for a while. Then a nice drive home. My sister signed the contract with the potential buyer today. They now have to get the lots they want to build on perked & some other steps. It may take until August to get things finalized if it all works out.

Sitting at a car show today had a vets shirt and my Vietnam vets hat on. I get a tap on the shoulder and a father and son hand me a large coke and a brat. They both said this is on us thanks for your service. That's twice in the past month somebody has made my day. Nice to get a pat on the back.

That's cool Skip!

I could not get my butt out of the bed this morning. I felt good when I woke up but while getting ready my back started killing me. I am sitting at work now with a heating pad on it. Hope it eases up. Some storms headed our way today. Not supposed to be severe but potential for high winds & possibly hail. Yuck. I only have one home visit client today. Hopefully it will not be in the midst of the storms that I am driving. First round is arriving here as I type. Have a Good Monday.

Good morning everyone.

Looks like remnants of hurricane #2 will arrive here tonight. Feel like I am back east.

Happy Birthday, Happy Anniversary & Hope you & all the dads have a great Father's day.

I had a rough day. I went in to work but my back just kept hurting worse & worse despite keeping a heating pad on it. I had a home visit & it was really rough. Kids were wild, adults not much better plus 3 cats & a dog. I was alternating sitting in a ladder back chair & standing but nothing helped. I went back to the office but by 1:00 I was hurting too bad & just went home. I could not get comfortable here either. I just made it home before it started raining & we got a good bit of small hail too. Glad I was able to get Pepper under the carport before that hit. I ended up just going to bed with the heating pad. I am slightly better but still hurting. Yuck!

Happy various celebrations to everyone!

Get better soon Jan.

Doing some OT tonight so I won't have so much work to when I come back from my mini-vacation. Tomorrow is my last day.

I HURT!!!!!!! I'm going to take a hot soaking bath this morning to see if it will let up any & if not it may be time to go to the Dr. Thing is, I do not trust doctors when it comes to back troubles. I just don't think they are very good at it. Nor do I want to be spending my $ on MD bills. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Go to an Ortho or pain management me. Stay away from chirps. Ask the Ortho or pain me if he bases his practice on evidence based medicine or what works in his practice. If he says the later, run. I have over 10 years of working for a utilization review company where all decisions are based on evidence based medicine and not bs that works at a drs' practice. Good luck!

Well it was a difficult day. The bath helped only slightly this morning. I remembered while driving in to work that aspirin helped the last time my back hurt & found some in out first aid kit. It is easing it a little, enough to be tolerable, but as soon as that 4 hours passes it is right back. No exercise class this week until I get better.

I got a call from my daughter today. She got results from her blood work back & it showed she has some sort of autoimmune problem (Lupus? rheumatoid arthritis?) That does not sound good. She has to go see a rheumatologist.

The company my husband and I work for is continuing to tighten down the screws on us saying if we don't meet productivity quotas we can't take leave/days off & could be fired. You can lead the horses to water but you can't make them drink. We have no control over folks not showing up.

Okay that is 3 things now doesn't that mean it is time for things to turn & me to get some good news or have something good happen now?

Well I was $2000 away from a 2013 C6 vette today. I just couldn't let them have the Camaro for the price they offered me :( The 2016 has me going down a different path. The vette is my next venture I think. Any input would be would be nice.

Bet you get call back by end of week. Can you do it if they split difference 1k? If not sold by end of month, you will get a call for sure. Pic of corvette??
