well I'm doing stripes...I want black but I don't like the flat black from GM...I will do some black painted stripes in the future but I might as well just throw on white stripes from the factory..

what yall think?? bad idea?

JMHO... if your gonna end up getting Black painted stripes I would just leave it plain...It looks good and it will save ya a few $'s. Like I said JMHO

yea...but I don't know how soon I'll get them painted and it's only $470 from factory..

I can only guess that my order is some kind of "standby" or placeholder in case a slot opens or some such thing, I thought at 3000 it would be clear sailing, so this was not real welcome news.

Given that I have no clue what will happen next, like 9/21 rolls up and it is 10/21, 11/21... I am not sure I have many options, start from scratch for another Camaro from another dealer, but I don't see how that buys me anything but the risk of the same thing happening. The other option is to get something else and just wait until the Camaro is available off the lot a couple of years from now and decide then.
