WAY too many "I'm older than I like to be" types on this forum that go straight for the throat when a kid says something.

I don't like being almost 44 but this kid didn't take away my 20s. The only reason some people have a problem with a kid having money is that they are jealous. Somehow they figure their age makes them entitled to cash, they have lived some and they have seen things and they deserve money more than a kid. Somehow.

Some advice: never begrudge people their money and never get angry that somebody else has more than you. Life's too short for that kind of petty crap.

OP: nice cars and good for you.

Software Guy, you may have a speeding problem, but you do not have a 'center mass' problem

Congrats on the rides. It looks like you have a knack for getting lots of views, on YouTube and even just by posting this thread.

I can't stand complainers here in California .. "HOLY CHRIST IT'S 85 DEGREES AND I CAN'T TAKE IT!!! WAHHHH"
85 degrees is perfect! It's this cold 50/60s that are killing me! But what you say about our love Cali is just too true.. It's stupid what kind of taxing goes on in this state.. Oh, and about the water, we already have to pay more for our lemon trees getting water I could only imagine what it could be like for people who use water amounts that make ours look inconsequential.

If you think about it, this thread without the haters ends the day it starts. Lots of guys post a "look at my new toy" thread, but the younger crowd does get a lot of crap for it. With a lot of older guys getting these cars to relive their youth, you kind of have to expect it. My wife tells me I still act like an eight year old, so I guess I'm still living my youth, just a little slower.

"BACK IN MY DAY" face head ass type people

Most of the people bitching on this thread are over their 50's and are acting like children who are crying because the kid in their class has better toys. I guess once you get that old you have a right to cry about how life is so unfair
I'd put money on you being almost 100% backward in terms of the ages. I'd bet the majority over 50 didn't say a negative thing about him getting the cars, let alone question how. I'd bet... most who did are well under 40 and considering probably 75% of those on this site are under 40, odds aren't in your favor.

I'd be surprised if the majority of those talking down to Logan aren't younger than you(< 40's). Beyond 30 or 35, we simply don't react that way in general. Disbelief is 1 thing, talking down usually comes from the younger crowd.

I'm over 50 and I posted positive on the first page of this thread, pointing out that it is perfectly logical that someone the OP's age could earn lots of money. Later on, some younger punk attacked me for it, LOL. As for the "old people trying to relive their youth" comment someone made, I've had Camaro's, Corvette's, Firebird's, and other performance cars since I was 17 and have never stopped having them. Not reliving anything here. I think there have been way too many assumptions on this thread AND... I tend to think what you just said and I quoted above is probably pretty accurate. Oh, AND... Hard work does equal wealth. Some might try it.

I see nothing wrong with that. I wish more people here could just be enthusiasts and not have to try and breakdown every thread. Though such is the internet, so I guess it's fine. I'd love to have a '67 Firebird! That's my planned retirement project.
