So I take it no one here knows the answer to the V6 with an Auto-Tran and the 1st to 4th thing?

but no it is only on the V8 manual only

the V6 doesn't have enough torque to be able to do this, and it's only possible on a manual anyways

Sorry, somehow I missed that rest of that page of posts and jumped to the next, thanks.

How does it force someone shifting a manual to go from 1st to 4th? This is just out of interests sake, does it block the shifter from going in to 2nd and 3rd physically?

yes there are lil gates that a solenoid activates to block it, just like how they can block putting it in reverse without going to neutral first
