I was actually considering the r400 but I rather get the 4 door golf r instead because I already have a 2 door car that is fast
. But it look's really cool! And I also heard a rumor that they might have a golf r with diesel in the future.

I'm sorry but a 2liter boosted to 400hp+ is a bad idea I drove the cla45 and it felt very overworked and overboosted and that was an AMG hand build engine. I just don't see how this engine will be enjoyable.

I'm not tracking on how anyone can tell if the engine is overworked and overboosted. If the engineering is there, it's there. I loved my turbocharged 2.0L inline four. RWD, drove like a mild small-block V8, it had 340 lb/ft and a factory warranty.

Agree... no real worries about these well-engineered high perforrmance powerplants. And what a lineup for hot fast hatches... a harder decision, but a good problem to have, for those who like all 3:
The 400R? The Type R?? ![]() Or the RS??? ![]() Hey GM.... where's your hatch entry????
