Ford Recalls 389,585 Cars for Faulty Door Latches
http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/...ches/26361495/
Why is it that when Chervolet issues a recall, everybody jumps at it and says what a horrible manufacturer they are, when Ford has just as many/maybe even more recalls themselves?

They're untouchable because people think Ford didnt take a bail out like Government Motors. Even though they did.....

![]() It is true that there's two sides the the GM recall situation: 1) The raw number of recalls 2) essentially a cover up #1 can be compared and contrasted with any car maker. Lots of recalls these days in general. #2 is despicable. I can clearly see that the intent was never to put anyone at risk but the decision was made, when it was discovered people were at risk, to keep it hushed up. People should be going to prison over that. Frankly GM is extremely fortunate we all bought their cars.
