Drove my fathers 427 corvette convertible today!
My father just purchased a 2013 corvette 427 convertible with 900 miles on it and it went straight to our tuner for a cam and intake. He hasn't even driven it since he bought it, so he figured might as well void the warranty
it's the same exact color as mine, CGM, we ran against each other a couple times and it's really close, weather is cool and first and second gears we both spin. When we did hook up it was almost dead even. He dyno'd at 472 and I'm at 607. This car is amazing. The sound of that LS7 with a cam and the top down is a sound that I have never heard before, pure bliss and that crackle, oh man! I'll tell you what, chevy sure knows what they are doing.

No, he just got it back today and it didn't even cross my mind and thinking back now, should of took a video too. I will soon, but it's a beautiful car. They only made this car for one year. It's basically a Z06 convertible

Yeah, we were hoping for more too. We thought we were going to get anywhere from 80-100 whp but didn't. Our tuner who is very reputable and has done work us multiple times on my car and my dads 06 GTO. He said possibly because the motor only has 900 miles on it. So we're going to do our best to break it in. We shall see

Yea, stock they put down like 440. Must be a very mild cam

Yeah, possibly. But I was surprised how hard it pulled and it kept up with me. Power to weight ratio is helping him out.

Where in Macomb are you? I grew up in Macomb and my mom still lives over around 21 and North Avenue.

The LS7 only came in the Z06 which didnt come in a converible?? Engine swap?

Hey, I live around 16 and gratiot and my father is near new Baltimore. Where are you at now & thanks I love my car but after driving the vette makes you more aware of the differences in these cars. There is a heirarchy in the brand and I know where I'm at.
