Hungover

Ok so I am beyond hungover. It was my gf's little brother's 21 bday party last night and I must say we had a one to many drinks. I came to work today at 6AM ( went to bed at 4AM) Pretty much I hate life and I am wondering what kind of remedies do you use when you are hungover?

I hate this smilie lol

Gatorade always help, get something in your system, fatty foods, take some pain killers and drink a lot of fluids, you should be ready for another round by the time you get off.

I hear ya. Last night was box wine night. Been doing it every Thursday since the mid-nineties. Last night was especially brutal. I rolled in to work an hour late and have been on camaro5 ever since. I do plan to go home an hour early so I can shovel a path to the shed so I can retrieve me roof rake. If pulling a couple of feet of snow off my roof doesn't sweat it out of me, nothing will.

Water, water, and then some more water.

My method is whenever I have had 199- too many in an evening, I make a point of drinking a LOT of water before hitting the sack... like, 48 ounces minimum, more if I can fit it in. As long as I do that before bed, I will not be hungover.

However, if I have forgotten to do so, the next morning (when the hangover is kicking hard), I'll force the water down, and within an hour, I'm in much better shape.

Saturday mornings in a military barracks can be comical... dudes laying around all over with IV bags dangling everywhere, medic friends hooking them all up to recover from Friday night's imbibery...

Greasy foods. Pizza, something from McDonald's, grease and bread do wonders on hangovers. ridiculous amounts of fluid. Drink until you can't drink anymore. Pain killers and stomach aids like tums help too but only so much. Next time your out drinking heavy take tums and drink water during the partying, it will make the hangover much less painful.

I actually never ever get hangovers this night was just a lot of mixing that's what really did it. I do usually drink a smart water before going to bed but honestly I don't even remember how we got back to my gf's house haha and lunch needs to be here sooner! I am starving and want me some fatty greasy food lol
