Exactly after the 1/4 and I guess top end by 2 or 3 mph doesn't make the hellcat a better car.
Same as the SS sedan it could be a better car than the hellcat but some people don't like the look's.

Unless this CTS-V can run 11:20s or better in the 1/4 mile bone stock, or can beat a Hellcat in a street race, or roll race considering what is important to me the Hellcat will be the better car. Especially if the early pricing estimates turn out to be true for the CTS-V and it's priced 10-15k above the Hellcat.

[QUOTE=MEDISIN;8241334]Early reviews? Talking out your posterior - what you do best. Please share with us these "early reviews" your privy to. Someone at GM leaked the pricing to you! Why didn't you tell us you had inside information!!![QUOTE]

Read the article and note the 85k price given.

Of course it will be more than the Hellcat Charger, it's a luxury car, not a mainstream brand. Don't pretend anyone is cross-shopping these cars. The Cadillac will offer a luxury interior, superior handling, refinement, driver engagement and dominate the Fatcats on anything with turns. Funny how you mention the 11.2 by C&D but not the 11.8 @ 124mph by MotorTrend?? Slight omission right?

"Pricing is expected to come in at around $85K, which will save you five figures or so versus the German rivals."

I must have missed the part where Car&Driver identified the source for this information?? Cadillac told them this? Car&Driver prices cars for Cadillac? Ohhhh, it's speculation, I see.

If it's only $20k more it will be a tremendous value indeed. $65k for a Dodge not named Viper???

It has 707 HP, and they all probably weight pretty close to one another, I would be shocked if it didn't win that shoot out, I don't think any sane person would think it would lose to that competition. But give me that Aston Martin all day every day

Gee whiz, a 700hp Dodge was faster than a bunch of 550hp luxury cars in a straight-line. I seriously doubt anyone driving the Rapide or S65 would give a passing glance at a Dodge unless it had blue and red flashing lights on the roof. The M5 and V are well sorted, luxury sport sedans that shine on the track. The Jaguar pulled pretty well for 550hp, I'm impressed. I can't wait to see the Hellcat in the Lightning Lap. Going to be hilarious!

A passing glance is all they might get as the 65k Hellcat motors past them. It's too bad the slowest of the bunch the CTS-V, got drop kicked from the competition 1st though.

It would be cool if they all had the same weight and hp and then we could see how each manufacturer would shine. Wouldn't the 392 srt charger belong in that test HP wise or give them all 700 and let em go.
