Did not make sense to me, but I sure as heck was not going to question it.

The guy who replaced, in the parking lot at work, was like watching an artist, he did it inside 30 minutes, year later, still no leaks or issues.

BTW -- I checked out the Halo's for my car, found the perfect ones from AAC and a great guy that works there that answered more questions then I would for anyone, was about to buy them when I found out what it took to replace them.

You have to take out the L/R fender wells to get at the bumper bolts, then remove the front bumper, the the HL assembly, then put it in the oven at 200F and hope the glue softens enough to take the lense cover off without breaking it, then install them and reassemble half the front end of your car.

Glad I found out first, so now will be making sure I can find a dealer shop willing to do it and buy the completed assembly so they don't have to deal with the oven part...

In any event, thanks for that tip, they have the complete assemblies so all I need to do is find a GM shop willing to do it.

They have changed in the last couple of years... Now if we can do something about folks that don't know what an acceleration lane is... anyone wanna venture a guess?
